PDK Educational Foundation Scholarships

Yearly Application Window: January 3 @ 9AM Eastern Standard Time through April 3 @ 5PM Eastern Standard Time

Educators Rising is sponsored by PDK International. One of the many ways that PDK supports Educators Rising and fulfills its vision of cultivating great educators for tomorrow is through the PDK Educational Foundation. The PDK Educational Foundation awards more than 30 scholarships each year to prospective educators who have a connection to PDK through membership in Educators Rising. All scholarships are available under a single application. One-time and renewable award amounts range from $500-$5,000.

ELIGIBILITY

Most Prospective Educator Scholarships are for high school seniors; however, a few are earmarked for current undergraduate students. To be eligible, applicants must be:

  1. A paid member in good standing of one of the associations: Educators Rising, Phi Delta Kappa, and/or Pi Lambda Theta; and
  2. Pursuing a career in education — usually this means you will be or are already enrolled in a School of Education; and
  3. Enrolled full- or part-time for the fall semester of the application year. If you will not be enrolled and paying tuition and fees in the fall, then you are not eligible.

Additional Scholarships for Current Undergraduate Students are also available.
